Join Felixstowe Radio – Shape the Sound of Your Community

Felixstowe Radio is on the hunt for dedicated, creative individuals to join our team—both on-air and behind the scenes. If you’re passionate about your community and ready to deliver content that matters, we want to hear from you.

Radio Presenters

You’ll host live shows (or pre-record if you have your own kit), curate playlists, conduct interviews and keep our listeners engaged. No prior experience required—full training is provided. We’re looking for confident communicators with local knowledge and the ability to think on the fly.

Behind-the-Scenes Crew

Production Assistants – Edit audio files, assist with scheduling shows and create/manage voice-overs and adverts.
Technical Engineers – Operate studio hardware/software and troubleshoot live broadcasts.
Outside Broadcast Support – Set up remote locations and handle OB equipment logistics.
Handyperson & Grounds Maintenance – Keep hedges, lawns and station facilities in top shape which may include some painting.

All roles need people who are detail-oriented, reliable and thrive on hands-on work. All roles are unpaid and we do operate a membership subscription scheme, details of which can be shared upon request.
